A week on the Hillsborough River

Every year, during spring break, the rowing team from St. Lawrence University travels to Tampa, FL. to train for the upcoming racing season. The boats hone their skills by rowing twice a day for the entire week. After all the sweat and unavoidable sunburns, it is every rowers hope that their boat moves faster so that they can defeat any crew they may face in the coming weeks.

To start my photoblog, I share a picture that has yet to fade with time. A long time ago I begged my friend, Eileen, to model for a project I was working on for Adv. Photo in high school. After being on display in my room throughout freshman and sophomore years of college, my friends know Eileen only by her eyes. This photo still strikes me every time I look at it.
